Rady Children’s Ice Rink — Through Jan. 2023
Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary and Liberty Station welcome San Diegans to kick-off the holiday season with outdoor ice skating at the Rady Children’s Ice Rink at Liberty Station. The outdoor rink will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., excluding Christmas. Net proceeds will benefit the Thriving After Cancer program in the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s.

Balboa Park December Nights — Dec. 2-3
Balboa Park December Nights brings families and friends together to spread holiday joy and kick-off the “most wonderful time of the year” with lights and more! Friends, families and the community are invited to come together for festive fun, food and attractions throughout the park, including complimentary admission to Balboa Park museums!

Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village — Dec. 3
Little Italy transforms into a winter wonderland with Christmas joy and lights down the streets. There will be nutcrackers, tree displays on every corner, holiday songs, vendors, music, live entertainment, food, and more!

La Mesa’s Holiday in the Village — Dec. 3
Walk the streets of La Mesa’s historic downtown enjoy live music, cozy fires, craft vendors, food, and a kids’ area with holiday movies and activities.

SoNo Fest & Chili Cook-Off — Dec. 4
Chili + beer + holiday shopping + kids fun fest = one perfect Sunday in December. This event takes place in the North Park and South Park neighborhoods and features a chili competition between 40 local restaurants, 30 vendors featuring homemade goods, craft beer and wine stations, games, face-painting, two stages for live music, and MUCH more.

Holiday Festival at the Del — Dec. 7
Visit the Del for the annual Holiday Festival! Festivities include pictures with Santa, ice skating, holiday treats and more!

Poway’s Christmas in the Park — Dec. 9
Join us at Old Poway Park for an old-fashioned holiday tradition that will take you back in time with caroling, live music, a visit with Santa, free children’s crafts, model train displays, and so much more! This event is FREE to attend!

Santa Run — Dec. 10
Join the LARGEST Santa Run! We’re filling the streets of Pacific Beach with a load of Santa’s ready to celebrate and spread holiday cheer!

Jungle Bells at the Zoo — Dec. 10-23, 25- Jan. 2
The San Diego Zoo will transform into a Holiday Forest, complete with exquisitely decorated trees and lights strung in all directions. Catch a showing of Jingle Brass, a caroling group that will wow you with their jazz-inspired takes on classic Christmas music.

Oceanside Harbor Parade of Lights — Dec. 10
Fishing boats, sail boats, yachts, and kayaks alike will be draped in holiday decor as they circle the Oceanside Harbor to enchant onlookers at the harbor, restaurants and beach. This event is FREE to attend and begins at 7:00 p.m.

San Diego Bay Parade of Lights — Dec. 11 & 18
The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a time-honored holiday tradition with more than 80 boats lavishly decorated and sailing by the shores for all to see. Held on two consecutive Sundays in December, the parade proceeds from Shelter Island past Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Pier at Cesar Chavez Park and the Ferry Landing in Coronado.

An Irish Christmas — Dec. 17
An Irish Christmas is a celebration of family and community that showcases some of the great Irish holiday traditions and features award-winning dancers from Riverdance, Lord of the Dance and Celtic Wings. Get your tickets today.

Broadway San Diego Presents: Annie — Dec. 27- Jan 1
